FAQ

What is a giclée print?

Giclée derives from the French verb glicer meaning to "squirt or spray". It stands for a fine art digital printing process combining pigment based inks with archival quality paper to achieve giclée prints of archival quality, light fastness and stability.

How are the prints produced?

The original artworks are redrawn by hand in different sizes (S, M, L) and digitalised with a specific high-resolution scanner. All prints are produced in-house and reviewed one by one by the artist itself to assure the best quality and outcome.

What kind of paper is used for the prints?

Matt, acid-free, natural white fine art paper from Hahnemühle is used for all products, including prints and originals. For more detailed specifications please have a look at the product information.
